First ALbum of the Month 2009 goes to one of our favourite artists; Joni Mitchell. Her sixth album Court And Spark was released in 1974, and with the mix of folk, pop and jazz it was her big commercial break.

With musicians like Joe Sample, Larry Carlton, Robbie Robertson, Jose Feliciano and Cheech & Chong (!) she created an album that is just as great to listen to 35 years on.
